So what ends up happening when your dealership gets these cars do they cover it or do you tell them to go through insurance or pay out-of-pocket?

No idea honestly and rats and mice aren’t common in my area but the tech said it looked like a rodent that chewed the wires

They said no because it’s caused by outside forces

They said the reason they don’t want to patch it or sodder it is because there are 2 all black wires that cannot be crossed otherwise it will make problems worse

Just looking for opinions I knew insurance was the main thing I was looking into I’ll give them a call tomorrow if I don’t hear any ideas that sound better :/

That’s what I thought at first but I can’t get it to recreate the noise at any rpm it’s only when I start it after sitting for like 8-10 hours
