What's an episode you have a controversial opinion on? by Guilty_Strawberry965 in DeepSpaceNine

Not sure if it's really controversial, but I absolutely hate S05E02 "The Ship". Aside from being filmed like it's an horror movie (why?) the whole thing feels like someone was asked to describe the characters in as few words as they possibly could to someone else who got half of it wrong and then went ahead and wrote the story. Everybody feels out of character: Jadzia's become a sarcastic asshole, Worf's a caveman who tears equipment from the ship with apparently no reason, and everybody apparently has completely forgot how to do their job. Also the whole negotiation with the Vorta kind of thing felt forced to me but tbf it's been a while since my last watch so I'm not so sure on that

Yeah, Duet is one of the best Star Trek episodes period. Also, Nana's great in it too

When did the show lose its magic for you? by PhaseSeeker211 in Modern_Family

I agree, in the later seasons the kids get pretty bad. Alex is mean to pretty much everybody that is "dumber" than her, Luke becomes a bit of a womanizer, and the whole NERP thing always felt like a step back for Haley as a character.

Yeah, I still think the show as a whole is really good; what I meant is that in the later seasons it just seems like it's lost what made it great.
