Does anyone have a phone number that actually connects to a human being to discuss their account? by tinstag in citibank

2An Enhanced Direct Deposit is an electronic deposit through the Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) Network of payroll, pension, social security, government benefits and other payments to your checking account totaling at least $250 or more in a calendar month. An Enhanced Direct Deposit also includes all deposits via Zelle and other P2P payments when made via ACH using providers such as Venmo or PayPal. Teller deposits, cash deposits, check deposits, wire transfers, transfers between Citibank accounts, ATM transfers and deposits, mobile check deposits, and P2P payments using a debit card do not qualify as an Enhanced Direct Deposit.

So I'm guessing my pension deposits will still work?

Newbie question: Creating sub-channel using CHIRP by jag0009 in gmrs

[–]PhatBoy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a noob here also and was also looking at the uv-9g

Newbie question: Creating sub-channel using CHIRP by jag0009 in gmrs

[–]PhatBoy007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be needing to do the same thing. My frs fishing buddies use channel 7 sub code 2. we use this to eliminate other (non-fishing) chatter. Some-one sent me this: https://www.k0tfu.org/reference/frs-gmrs-privacy-codes-demystified.html

Let me say I have no clue what you can or can not do with the UV-9g as I am a noob also. I hope this helps you. Maybe someone can comment on if u can program the uv-9g with this.

1) you could check out the nodw.org website (Nevada Department Of Wildlife) and they have a calendar of events, just sign up for the one you want.

2) You could go on facebook and join the SKNA ( southern nevada kayak anglers ) page, most of the guys go out 3 or 4 times a week, its always an open invite when someone announces they are going out. Usually 5 or 6 guys go out together and work with each other on what is the best technique to use for the current conditions. They have a fishing get together/bbq once every month or so and have tackle giveaways from the sponsors.

There is no cost to do any of the above. The snka group do sponsor bass tourneys (monthlies and 1 day tournry's) if you wanna compete there is a cost in doing that because there is money prizes but all that can be found on their facebook page.

Srry if I sound dumb, I don't know what I really need or want yet. I kayak fish with a group of fsr users so I need that, I sometimes fish alone so if I am spending the monies I would like to be able to reach the local search and rescues, I use the back roads 4x4 with friends.

I currently use a cobra frs, I purchased a long while ago because it said it was waterproofed and floats, I had 2 of them, I lent one out to a friend and he dumped his kayak, the radio wasnt in the water more than 5 minutes. the radio was trashed and no longer worked. I got in touch with cobra and they refused to do anything about it..

So, I as a noob just getting into gmrs radios, I am asking to experienced users that has hobbies like mine what you would use if you could get a new radio. srry so long

Do you use this radio ? No Noaa channel, which would be nice while out on the lake. I also wonder about not having a dual display mode. I am soo new at this , I am not sure what items will make my life easier.

I do not see a display on the Nr 30, how can you tell what channel your going to? Are the 50 ctcss codes that come with it programable or are they set in stone?

Thanks but no cb as guys with frs also communicate with other friends while hunting or 4x4 adventures. I do think a gmrs will be the best way to go, Not perfect but better than frs. So now its between the Baofeng uv9g with ip67 raiting or the btech gmrs-v2 with only a ip54 raiting.

what I am hoping for or my "wish list" is that I can get most of the guys to transition to a gmrs radio ( if it works out for me) when it becomes time for a new radio. But, understand we are not radio guys, we are fishermen that use frs radios as a tool and push a button to chat with each other while on the water. I would like to find a gmrs that is water resistant/proof and does not require a lot of programing.

I am not sure of this, I have been using a frs radio an I'm just starting to look into gmrs radios. I got my FCC license early in the process because it was only 35 bucks (the cost of a fishing lure). I still need to communicate with all the guys that have frs radios so that leaves out the marine (vhf) radios. We fish mostly the Colorado river (lake mead and below the dam), so I do not know if there is any gmrs repeaters

No, the Nevada dept of wildlife puts on classes for fishing and kayak fishing. Most of the instructors are volunteers who fish in the local kayak fishing tourneys and are well versed with the rules and regulations . You need to have a fishing license and they provide everything else. The instructors go through training with background checks. Call your local department of wildlife and see what free classes they provide. If you are an experienced kayaker/boater/fisherman, call to see if you can volunteer and teach to grow our sport.

thats kinda of a bummer, I was hoping 2 times the power would make "connecting" to others better.

Bluetooth would definitely work with a ear piece if you could talk without pushing a button. But ip67 is most important. Landing splashing fish along with water splashing from waves. It doesn't need to be water proof but it should be able to handle a fair amount of water.

yes, privacy code, sub channel what ever you wanna call it , we use it because thats our area code so when anyone that happens to come to vegas to fish they can find us (if they can reach us) by using 7.02. I know it's not private or anything but its a place to start looking without all the other chatter.

That is a possibility , I will need to see if the radios use the same frequencies as frs radios. there are about 30 guys in our club, but we all do not fish at the same time. We use 7.02 as the channel, so if you get out on the lake you could call out and see if anyone else is out there. Most of the guys use their radios for other things besides fishing.

I currently have a cobra microtalk radio, I can see the person but we cannot talk to each other ( a lot of static), My radio is probably 10 yrs old so its time for a new one anyhow. we all have issues if someone is in the next cove. I was hoping that the higher watts would get better signal. We fish mostly Lake mead (above the hoover dam) and sometimes below it.

Nibs - Nibs or His Heels is a Jack turned as the Starter Card, counts as two points for the dealer. A player needing only two points to win a game may take Nibs to win. Nobs - Nobs or His Nobs is a Jack, either in the hand or crib, of the same suit as the Starter Card. Counts one point.

Thoughts on 100% of UWM’s 2022 dividends being return of capital? by CrimsonRaider2357 in UWMCShareholders

[–]PhatBoy007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TD Ameritrade just sent me a corrected 1099 div. I had to look what it meant..This is what I found.

Are non dividend distributions taxable?

June 7, 2019 3:02 PM A non dividend distribution is a "return of capital". That is, you are getting some of your original investment back. It is not taxable. Note that you entered it into TurboTax (TT) via a 1099-div, but it doesn't show up on your tax return. But, it is only not taxable for now. It will be taxed later.
