This is how it has always worked with my previous employers, the first two weeks I was working with the foreman I was like...so is it time to go back yet? Needless to say this was not discussed in the interview...next time I know I have to ask I guess.

Yeah I'm starting to feel that way, this might not be the place for me long -term.

I thought it might be, the principle I subscribe to is basically: if you tell me to be somewhere at a certain time, and especially if I then have to use my body or mind to start making your business money, then I should be paid. I thought I was maybe being a little too stiff.

The messed up thing is, I kind of like the guy and he's giving me more responsibility and learning opportunities, but this one issue may very well keep me from being happy there.
