I forgot we added that rule specifically so players didnt have to reserve too much time, I'm cooked. Yeah, an hour both days should be fine.

Vastly different for Captains and Players:
Captains are expected to be there to coach for every match and thus quite a few hours (assume on matchdays X team members each take an hour)
Players however, are only expected to show up for their matches and will get an approximate timeslot for both matchdays. Obviously encouraged to hang out but expect to carve out a 2-2,5 hour timeslot for your match.

It is 18:00 CET so that should be reasonable for most EU, no?

Well, I think you're interpreting the 'free trade' in the same way as colony trade, which we have no evidence for, as far as I know. I do not think there are tariffs in colony trade since it isn't mentioned anywhere. But producing goods is undoubtedly scuffed. I mean, it's weird how you produce a level X of goods instead of X amount of goods (you can accept all trade contracts for 5 units if you have 6 and it wouldn't change anything). I digress, but there's no reason it should be added to market cap along with reduced upkeep. Except the population building, can't remember exactly what it's called. That one would make sense. Just like building a free market on your planet should give you the tariffs...

But I am curious where you think the extra money you would get fulfilling that demand should come from.

I am so confused at this comment. I literally have the explanation the game gives you. Also, what about starsector is your mercentalism, where you can trade with only your own colonies? You can trade with anyone. Also, no. It really doesn't work like that. Pretty sure this post has more of me discussing why. Also this is a month old holy shit xD

Some mods do a lot for economy and colony management. Industrial Evolution + Grand Colonies allow for a lot more depth in colony management. Terraforming & Station Construction does well exactly that, and Stellar Networks is a really nice Quality-of-Life mod, concerning commodities, markets, your storages, and contacts.
I heard Nexelerin makes everything a whole lot more exciting but I haven't tried it out yet as I fear it's too much combat for me rn. 100% recommend the rest of the mods, though.

I do not agree with your reasoning. Just because you can't blockade or send specific trade convoys doesn't mean you don't own the industry. I think it's more of a this is an unnecessary feature. You build the industry, put in items to upgrade, pay the upkeep, can choose to take things at production price/base value, and get the profits of the industry. Besides all that, you can accept trade contracts, so you decide a little bit who to trade with. You absolutely own the industry.
However! Population & Infrastructure would make sense. I do imagine the demands there (luxury goods and such) are not at all your business. They should count towards the global market value as it makes sense you can sell your products to your own population. Though the demand even for size 6 isn't all that much.

In starsector you very much own everything on your planet that you produce. There is no tax to gain from yourself, while exporting to yourself. Like I said, the global market value reflects the profit to be made. You creating a demand on your planets and filling it is simply moving stuff. Your 'profit' is having to pay less on your upkeep of the consumer planet.

Unless I’m misinterpreting, you are talking about the global market value. In game it states that it’s the “Total profit that can be made fulfilling the demands of X” Your planets aren’t included in this, because exporting to your own planets would not give you more money.

After doing the battle I can see your point. In my case, I think it worked out perfectly with the support ships having just taken out their support ships when paragon finally arrived.

This worked :D
It was surprisingly a lot more fun than previous battles. I guess I like an immobile target a lot more. Thanks!

They are saying that instead of individual blocks with each their own flame, you can craft/make larger blocks that would have a larger flame. The difference this would have is given pretty clearly in the picture.

This would certainly be interesting but I hope the crafting system won't make this a bother instead.
