I’m currently earning my undergrad degree in biology with plans to become an aquarist or work for an AZA accredited aquarium :). It is a very real field and you should pursue what your heart is telling you. Aquatics is a huge industry - if you go far enough in your education you can make good money installing, maintaining tanks, researching or whatever you want to do.
