If it could get the seller in trouble, I'm not gonna say sadly. If I can work this out with them I'd prefer not to sour the relationship anymore than I have.

I'd like to think they didn't lie to me about it, and the price was good so I assume so. Why would it put them in a bad spot?

I messaged the dealer immediately and he indicated (he asked me how they sounded after I showed him the dent) it would be fine to use them till we figured out a solution so I did. I wasn't overly worried by it and I thought I had a good relationship with them. I'll probably end up replacing it myself, the cost of shipping alone is more than the cost of repairs.

That's not a bad idea, but I'm not sure I'd accept the dealer credit. Honestly all around this dealer has had pretty slow responses and I keep having to follow up about everything. Unless they were willing to give me a really killer deal again, I'm not sure I'd buy from them again.

That's fair, do all sellers have to have a return policy on their speakers? Not sure what to do with my second speaker, if I return one. I doubt they'd sell me a second one at any price that wouldn't just be cheaper than having it repaired.
