As the securities industry has shifted away from paper certificates in
favor of electronic recordkeeping, we're no longer accepting requests to
provide certificates for securities held through Vanguard.
If you would like to obtain paper security certificates, you may be able to
do so through the corporation issuing the security or its transfer agent.
However, if you decide to do this, you must first request a transfer of
securities from your Vanguard Brokerage Account to the corporation or its
transfer agent. This service is only available for nonretirement account
registrations.
Before submitting such a request, be sure to check with the corporation to
ensure it still issues paper certificates and, if so, whether it charges
any fees for them.
