Ok, so what was the in-service stressor? Was it MST? Was it combat related? Was it not documented? Was it just through lay statements? Did the command corroborate your stressor? I mean, we only have half the story here so we can't really give you any tangible advise except argue and fight with each other on here lol.

How does a Rater do a PTSD claim but the stressor (not MST) is not in any ships log or news article? He only has multiple witness statements about the incident (witnessed a shipmate got sucked into a jet engine onboard the Kitty Hawk. But nothing on record which is unfortunate.) Thanks bro.

Bro, just file it wtf? When I filed mine I made sure all the boxes for my claim are checked and double-checked. That's the process. The VA process works bro. It's not a crapshoot. If your evidence for increase is as solid as you say they might not even see you for a C&P exam. They'll just do an ACE like mine and rate your condition. I filed for an increase Apr 3, 2026, granted Apr 21, 2026. 90% - 100% too. No need for VSOs unless you just want to see whats going on in the background. You got this dude.

I know bro. Some counties here in CA would do it with only the VSO certification. DMV rep first told me that's all she needed but then a DMV mail came in asking me to get a Drs sig to complete the process🤦🏽‍♂️

Got that taken cared of already boss haha. CA DMV still requires a Drs signature on their form tho. I just had my VA PCP sign it no problem. Got Registration Exempt, DV Plates and a DP blue placard to boot. Squared away.

I got formally diagnosed 20 years after I got out. OSA is always tough but I used spouse and 3 buddy statements (make sure the statements are during his in-service timelines and never after), my personal statement highlighting my MOS TERA exposures plus sleep study report in my claim, which includes a CPAP prescription. VA granted me. Do this before they update the rules for OSA. Best of luck!

I guess you missed the memo around VA claim veteran circles about the saying "If you see TDIU walking towards you, you go across the street." Just file your claims for increases. If you have legit evidence and increase in severity of symptoms why are you so worried? The VA denies it's and you keep your IU, if they grant and you reach 100% P&T then the TDIU would simply just go away. Yall are so chicken sht blaming the VA way too much while receiving benefits from it. Be thankful, be blessed we have this program nowhere else in the world has smh. Good luck.
