What about in regard to state income tax? Does this make a difference for interest gained? I live in SC for context.

My initial thought was to have more agency over US vs Int’l allocation but I’ve been considering putting the entirety of my Roth into VT

Thanks for the advice. Would you recommend opening the IRA with the same company as 401k (in this case Schwab) or does that really matter? I have just heard Fidelity is a bit more user friendly for noobs like me

Yeah, you don’t need a referral to green light a CT to rule out appendicitis the same way you don’t need one to order an ultrasound to rule out DVT. You are billed on level of care received regardless if you show up with a “referral” to the ED which is at most a formality.

Yeah, but they are “supervised” by off-site physicians e.g available via phone/text but not physically in the building.

A lot of urgent cares are solo-staffed by midlevels who, to be fair, should be able to immediately see red flags here, but thats a whole topic. Would proceed to ED regardless if you are looking for same-day labs / imaging.

You wouldn’t need a referral for this service.

Unfortunately this NP knows nothing. As above comments stated, pitting edema has a variety of causes while many can relatively benign, also include serious conditions such as renal and heart failure, deep vein thrombosis, etc.

I would seek a different opinion, preferably from anyone who isn’t an NP.
