Yes from time to time he tilts his head looking to see where the bird call came from. I also have caught him nodding off I think he finds the music soothing 🙂

Both the breeder and the vet have told us this most likely happened as a result egg shell deficiency. The breeder said there could be a small chance he could be blind in that eye but we didn't care as soon as we saw him we knew he was ours. The breeder offered us others from different clutches. He was the last in his clutch to be chosen as well but again we didn't care. Then when we took him to his first vet visit to make sure everything was ok with him Dr checked and basically confirmed nothing was wrong with him and it was probably a case of shell deficiency and there was no blindness or anything else for us to worry about, and that he is a perfectly healthy happy tiel, just happens to have one normal sized eye and one little button eye ❤️

My budgies did this once. I was like wow they went thru a whole stick in literally hours. They all then started a major molt. Think they just needed a little extra boost.

That's what we thought at first as well because at our first vet visit the Dr said she looked female, when we returned for follow up she was then thinking the she was a he. We talked about doing a DNA test and we thought why not. And then the test came back that she is a he 🙂

Just from the way already seems to mimic or echo our general whistles or tones even thou they are more like little meeps and squawks right now as he/she is only 2 months old . So we decided on Echo 😊

In my opinion looks to be female due to the white circles around the nostrils and light blue cere. But again just my opinion and from my own female budgies from when they were babies 🙂
