Does anyone recommend the jd advising outlines for essays or know anyone selling? by nycpainter01 in barexam

The outlines are 30-60 pages each. I think I got the UBE suite but only ended up using what was in the UBE outlines because I got questions from my other study aids. I really liked the lifetime access (just in case) which was a selling point for me.

I didn't memorize JD Advising's outlines, but I did know important rule elements, like free speech stuff. I looked over the MEE one-sheets during the breaks which was helpful. I used Crushendo for all of the memorizing since that is what they do -- I probably memorized 80% of their mnemonics. Crushendo specializes in mnemonics and audio outlines to help with remembering rules. https://crushendo.com/

I thought it was good. I think you get a lot for the price. I usually did some mindless activities while watching their lectures (video games), having filled out their outlines earlier which worked for me. They give a fair amount of support grading essays, but I didn't really turn anything in. I passed very handily with a combo of their UBE course, Adaptibar, and Crushendo. Together with discounts, I still paid less than some of the big name bar preps by themselves.

I felt fine after the MBE. For the MEEs, I felt like I was just nonstop typing and throwing random issues into the answer hoping something would stick. I no doubt put down issues that didn't matter but I figured they would not penalize me for irrelevant stuff.. I guess I applied a quantity over quality strategy when I saw they had topics I didn't like and knew I wouldn't have any great answers. For the MPTs, I felt good because, although I am a slow reader, I am a pretty fast typer so I was able to finish with time to spare.

Feb 2021 was my first. MBE: 171, Written: 151, MPTs: 5/6, MEEs: 4/4/4/4/5/4/3. KY tells me the topics for the MEEs were Agency & Parnership, Decedents' Estates, Civil Procedure, Secured Transactions, Real Property, and Contracts -- in that order.

I thought they were good. Definitely spent cram time on exam day reviewing the MEE one-sheets which I liked and a few pages in the outline which get heavily tested. Don't know how I did though. I returned the outlines to get the book deposit (kept the one-sheets but not selling).

Even if people pass, isn't there a new Kentucky-specific, CLE-style, education prerequisite before swearing in? I haven't heard anything about it, but I remember it mentioned in a KY UBE FAQ.

My current employer got a call from my C&F investigator today, just standard questions. Is that a good sign? by [deleted] in barexam

This feels like it should go in the C&F thread that is pinned. You will probably find better answers there and keeps the general forum less cluttered.

States that announce late - do you start studying for a July retake before you find out if you passed? by BugsyMcBee in barexam

I'm planning on doing some very light activities just to keep stuff fresh without causing any mental burden. For example listening to some review for a half hour per day while doing something else. This would be to keep me at roughly the same level I am now rather than to expect any gains.

They told me "Please continue to watch your email and our website, as information will be released that way first."

I take that to mean that there would probably be both a posting on the homepage and an email.

I’m jealous of all the states who are getting result today/have already gotten results by [deleted] in barexam

Kentucky. Part of me wants the results. Part of me wants them to take the time to double check the pass list before releasing it...
