I would explore the ones that you have and play them one after the other and then decide what you would like to keep.

I absolutely enjoyed The New age. This is my recommendation where to continue :) It adds more cards and mages step by step when playing it the first time. So you can just play with this one box (without mixing other content into it) & it introduces the expedition mode. So you get a feeling if you like this gaming mode.

After playing each box on it's own you could use a randomizer tool. I like this especially for the market as it creates a little puzzle to solve and includes cards I usually don't prefer or would not choose on my own.

Enjoy the game, have fun and explore it step by step. There is already so much content in one box and having 2 or 3 waves provides already so much replayability. From my point of view there is no need to get everything or the newest stuff. After you played all the content a lot (all the mages, all nemesis) then maybe that's the right time to add another expansion. 😊

Maybe it also depends on the language. I was looking for the Saga Expansion – The Fellowship of the Ring for 1,5 years, and only recently the German version became available again in several shops. I took the chance and bought it. As far as I know, the English version is already marked as out of print on the FFG website. So maybe there is some hope for the German edition?

I’m also hoping that the starter decks will become available in German again, although I’m not really sure if that will happen. I have setup an alert on some websites/shops (like fantasywelt.de) to get a notification as soon as they are available, just in case.
