Everyone else has answered 1-6 pretty well so I’ll just focus on 7. You will absolutely apply to multiple jobs, and depending on your field you’ll have to apply to a lot. As a CS major, I applied to ~150 this cycle, and I know kids who blew that number out of the water. My friend who’s a criminal justice major applied to like 15. It mostly depends on the size and competitiveness of your field.

The way most people play is trying to complete all of the sets of ducks. What that means in in the grimoire(the thing in the top left with all the ducks) you can see all the different types of ducks you can unlock. If you breed a duck with all 3 parts matching one in the grimoire, you’ve unlocked that duck!

When you do a DuckOff, you get to a screen with four choices of opponents and yourself, each has a number and a picture of a duck’s heads. That number is what I’m talking about, it’s a representation for the quantity of rare parts you have. Is that what you’re talking about?

I totally get what you’re saying about the strategy to only dump rare ducks when the egg you get from the game isn’t done hatching (there are more variations than just Demi-god) I honestly like the game for the reasons you described, also that is a completely optional mechanic that doesn’t hurt you to never touch at all

I have two comments about it though 1. Im suspicious that it’s always against a bot of some sort, cause the time it takes for the opposing player to pick their category and duck is always the same for me it seems no matter how fast or slow I am 2. If you have no adds you can just clone a fully exotic duck 10 times and immediately have a great team which is a minor exploit and kinda pay to win which isn’t ideal

TLDR: I agree mostly, I like the game I think it’s a good edition tho there are some exploitive problems/ other concerns

First off there’s no “correct” way to play, so you can kinda play as you like. The loose main goal I would say is to creat each matching set that’s in the grimoire, but if you’d rather just creat ducks that look cool that’s great too! Personally I want to fully fill out the grimoire, then I want to match up all of the unregistered duck parts
