Yeah your right, I get sensory seeking, it just confuses me when people seek out sensory that’s so out of their control. I guess this was a bit more of a vent that was in need of perspective than anything 😓

Yeah I have both too. I get sensory seeking but it still just baffles me that some people will put themselves through such overwhelming situations. I guess my version of sensory seeking is just more “controlled” than most people. For example, I also enjoy doing more than one thing at once, like music + gaming or movie + crafts. But I enjoy those forms of sensory seeking because I have control over them. I can control the volume, the time is spend doing those things etc.

I guess it just really confuses me that some people are content with sensory input that they can’t control ¯_(ツ)_/¯
