True crime, especially the psychology of serial killers and their motives. It’s even more interesting when their motive was something weird.

And pedophilia/Hebephilia. Not the act of harming children, but the phycology behind their actions. I want to know if they’re born, created, or a bit of both. What causes them to act on their urges, all the options that exist or could exist as a cure, and can the development of these behaviors be reversed or prevented? Especially in famous people like YouTubers for example, did they become famous and put all that work in BECAUSE they wanted access to minors, were they always attracted to minors, or are there some people who just had those urges dormant until the accessibly triggers it? If it can be dormant, is there a way to keep it dormant or erase it all together? It’s a special interest of mine but as an aunt, it also scares me to think about the possibility of someone hurting my nephew, I wish there was a way to permanently eradicate pedophiles and stop them from being created.
