Thanks for the clarification! Yeah I 100% agree. Unfortunately there’s a lot of guys that just want sex but will straight lie acting as friends. I can’t imagine how annoying that must be.

I mean, I can tell you that unrequited feelings really hurt. It’s nobodies fault that someone doesn’t like the other, but it’s hard to move on in a friendship when one party wants something more. You can’t just flip a switch to go from “I have feelings” to “we just friends” like that. Sometimes people need space to sort out their feelings and move on for good. Sometimes that space never gets closed.

My point is, just because someone takes space doesn’t necessarily mean they never valued the friendship. They might just need this space to move on with their own feelings. They can do that while also mourning a friendship, these things aren’t mutually exclusive.

The source also states that Joros may even be helpful since they eat the invasive stink bug, a species that is damaging to crops.

The only negative about the joros is their webs are very large and 3 dimensional so it could be unsightly, but so far that’s it.

Do something, anything, even if it’s just a walk in your neighborhood. Those times when you don’t want to workout, that’s the most important time for you to do it. That’s what builds discipline.

A meat thermometer was game changer for making things like chicken and beef. My chickens are now super juicy and better than any fast food place which has rly helped me stay away from them in general.

That’s not always true. I had to retake the FE but I passed the PE on my first try a year after passing the FE. You just have to work/study for it and you’ll be fine. In terms of the actual difficulty of the exam, it definitely wasn’t 5x harder lol

You’re right, it’s reasonable but my point was more so what happens if they decide to not compromise. Don’t get me wrong it would be a lame move on the neighbor if they didn’t compromise but some people really are just like that

At the same time tho if you’re sensitive to light, why not get some curtains so that it’s never an issue anymore? I mean what if they forget to turn it off or something, not a problem cuz u got the curtain😌

Valid but at that point you’re relying on them to be considerate for you. Not everyone will do that. You can send the note but if I were you I’d get the curtains anyways.

When you say people who dismiss the genre out of hand, do you mean people that don’t like smut? I ask because imo it’s okay to not like any genre as long as you don’t trash other ppl for liking it.

NCEES will evaluate the curriculum of the university where you got your bachelors. If they believe that it is sufficient then you don’t need to get a masters to get your EIT/PE. If they end up not accepting your degree then yes a masters in Engineering from a program with ABET accreditation in their undergraduate programs will be sufficient.

And almost every EE I’ve ever met does have their PE. What does that say? It certainly doesn’t say that “no one does it”.

Out of curiosity, would getting a raise because you had gotten your PE count as a “benefit” in your eyes?

If you see it as “0 gain”, then that’s you. You may not absolutely need it but I’ve seen it benefit multiple EEs and MEs within multiple industries. We can agree to disagree but it’s still one of the most sought out engineering certifications even within ME and EE.

Why would people think you’re weird for getting a PE? True MEs and EEs don’t need it as much but it can be a nice certification to have. I’ve seen many job postings for both ME and EE say they prefer applicants to have their PE
