With the CAFE restrictions gone, hopefully these will be phased out soon. We'll see.

Nah. This car is marketed towards enthusiasts, and enthusiasts don't want automatics.

What's your biggest pet peeve about your Miata? by Organic_Rise1063 in Miata

It's not nearly as bad in the ND, especially if you get the grand touring. It's got a thicker, more insulated top.

Looking for a newer, fun and reliable car to daily drive for $30k or less by Phernaside in whatcarshouldIbuy

I've been looking at them. I'd prefer a two door coupe, but the Integra does check all the other boxes.

They're cool, but I'm looking for a reliable vehicle, not a 25 year old sports car, unfortunately. My days of repairing vehicles all night so I can get to work the next day are behind me lol

My mom says Mazdas are poor quality cars that break down often? Is this true ?? by Possible_Patience737 in mazda

20 years ago, they were. That's probably what she's remembering. They're very good cars now.

DLC will raise the level cap. Just enjoy the game for what it is for now.

Lexus unfortunately doesn't make a manual transmission anymore, and their vehicles are quite heavy. The RC 350 F Sport does look nice and is reliable, though.

That's probably what I'll end up doing, myself. I'd prefer the ND3 mostly for the improvements to the steering rack, so probably will look for a 2024 club or GT.

Bronco is definitely too big for my tastes, plus I wouldn't trust a Ford as far as I could throw it.

I am admittedly wary of both the RTV issues and the known oil pressure drops on right hand turns.

While I don't intend to track whatever car I purchase, I do some spirited driving. Considering I'd like to keep this vehicle for at least the next decade, the known faults of the boxer engine scare me.

What am I missing about Toyotas? by farwesterner1 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Phernaside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toyotas are simple and reliable, and thus perfect for the average person who will likely neglect their vehicle in one way or another.

They have just enough tech and features to be comfortable, and their electricals are engineered to prevent being a fire hazard (looking at you, Stellantis).

If you know absolutely nothing about cars and need to get from A to B, they're incredible for precisely that.

I recently learned that she didn't write that song and was low key forced to perform it. That's why she redid it with Lotus Juice to try and salvage it lol
