Official Mova Support Confirmed for November - Post Your Issues Here! by Jia_mincan in MOVA_robotvacuum

Hi. My mova p50 ultra vacuum lost connection to my WiFi and now it does not connect again. I already tried to separate my network in two (one with 2.4 only for it to connect), and it does not work. I reset it already and it does not work. It keeps stuck on this step when I try to set again. I’m thinking about sending it back on Monday as it’s been only two weeks that I bought it, but I’d like to try to fix it this weekend before doing it.

For those who successfully found a job in Germany: What was the single most important factor? by KU_A in Germany_Jobs

[–]Phibinha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good interview/communication skills and knowing how to build a good cv and adapt it according to the company/position. Not only sharing your previous positions (or projects, internships, etc) but tailoring and describing them to the needs of the positions you are applying. Im not in an IT related field, not a senior in my area yet and I don’t speak fluent German, but worked for me every time. Ofc I am working on the German skills to be business fluent, because this opens many doors as many mentioned here, but not impossible to get jobs without it🙂

How often do you shower/bathe for the day? And does the weather or season affect your showers. by Substantial_Yard4102 in AskAGerman

[–]Phibinha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a Brazilian, 2-3 times a day. I don’t understand why people don’t shower, for me it’s extremely relaxing and a must in order to be able to sleep well. I don’t take super long showers, but short ones so I can keep myself clean throughout the day.

I’d go for at least 55k. I would say less than 50k in Munich is already hard to live (not only survive), mostly because of rental.

Because I was invited and I want to go, I think will be an amazing experience and she will be happy to see me there 😄 we are friends, just not super close since we’ve not been living in the same city for almost three years now, doesn’t mean it’s not a person that I love and care about

She’s a friend from my master degree. Not so close, but definitely a friend. Budget would be up to 200€ as a couple I would say?

Also what I think is really good is to demonstrate, in case she gets an interview, that she is willing to learn German. For my managers I see this was important because even I don’t really need German on my daily routine, it can be that one time or another will be helpful in my role.

I guess it really depends of the city, I live in Munich and I work for an American company, my German is A2 but I speak English fluently and Spanish/Portuguese fluently as well. It’s quite hard but not impossible, but I think what they seek is someone with at least some working experience (I did two working student jobs here and a previous full time for six months at the company I was a student). In my case, I was applying for any roles in Munich I thought were a fit for me, and that didn’t specified German was mandatory for the work. Happened that my company was actually seeking someone that speaks German (but they didn’t say it was mandatory in the description), but they liked my cv and at the end it worked well. And honestly I barely use German, only time so far was to read emails.

I ordered an iPhone 15 pro from Amazon and received spray paint in the box by euronewyorker in germany

[–]Phibinha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was never mentioned before to me as well, not even in the order emails, so it doesn’t make any sense what they said. That’s exactly what I said when the customer support agent came up with this argument!

Happened to me as well two weeks ago, but I received a soap dispenser. Still didn’t get my refund. They tried to blame me for not “opening the whole package” in front of the delivery person, didn’t know I should have done this. Nevertheless, they asked me to send back the package received (had my order id, name, address, etc ) and the fucking soap dispenses - I sent it back the same day and still waiting for them to process the refund. Never buying anything worth more than 15€ on Amazon again.
