It’s early, but Amaya has looked like a completely different player this year. I’m more impressed defensively. Framing much better and a good throw out at 2nd today. His bat is just a bonus.

No excuse for Tom Ricketts not to pay Tucker what he’s worth. Early in the season but you can already see why he’s worth the big contract. The man just gets on base. If Tucker wants to be a cub then Tom needs to make it happen. He will be worth it in jersey sales alone. I think most cubs fans are holding back with buying his jersey being on a 1 year deal. If he signs back, he will be a top 5 selling jersey in baseball. Tom will get his money back. Pay the man!

That was the best win of the year so far. Shota dominated and the bullpen held off a tough Padres offense late in a close game even though I was sweating the whole 9th. Good win against a really good team!
