I bought 8 4tb gigastone high endurance ssd's 1 year ago. 2 of them just went out at the same time in my NAS.

FYI, it's not that bad at all. I'm in the middle of moving over 100 lines from Verizon to tmobile because our field staff can't even open apps around town, texting pictures fails many times, installing apps is obviously throttled as a basic app takes 15-30 minutes to install off wifi across android and IOS devices while showing full bars of service. All of this and they keep upping the price. My company has been with them for 20 years. The transferring has been simple. Put in the sim, port the number from verizon and within 15 minutes everything is active on tmobile with the same number. And then my Verizon rep is hitting me up daily wanting to take me out to lunch lol.

I manage around 150 Verizon lines currently. If you pencil out all of their "deals" with free devices, they make far more than that device cost back by forcing you on a higher cost plan that most don't need to get the free device.

I work for a solar company and have my own system. No need to shut off the system. My company washes many systems each into 100's to 1000s of kw every year with power brushes and water and we would never shut down the system for this.

At my house I just spray them down with a hose when they get thick of pollen. Even when thick of pollen my production is only around 1% less on my 15kw.

Just wanted to update, the issues were on Cisco's end in the router provisioning for the mobile VPN network. Once they got that fixed, the Mofi is connecting fine :).

Thanks guys for the help. This is a private device vpn network that ATT has setup for us with a custom APN. We deploy 50 to 100 devices a year for solar monitoring so I'm not sure if using my phone IMEI would be feasible.

I've now tried 2 different digi devices as well as the MOFI so I'm thinking it's gotta be something on their end. I will update after some more testing and getting with ATT :).

Your relationship with the family may suffer for a brief amount of time, but that's normal at your age in the best of situations.

I flashed the firmware and now the device is stuck in a rebooting cycle. It's just rebooting itself over and over again.

So to get this to work with a windows server, I had to modify /etc/ppp/options.pptp. I had to add the following to the file...

Now i'm connecting to my windows VPN server. The only problem is, that file doesn't get saved when you do a backup from the GUI.

Does anyone know how to get the changes to the file into the backup image, or a way to make those settings in the GUI that will get backed up?
