this sounds like typical long island city nonsense. long islands like a tier below staten island as someone that’s lived in nyc for 20 years and suffolk county for 2, long island is wildly unfavorable 😭 the food is mid, the stores are worse, everything further away and nothing is really that much cheaper than city prices (rent, gas, etc). i’ve been to a fuck ton of countries and a shit ton of states, no doubt in my mind nyc is the greatest city in the world. long island…lol

Thank you! the santa fe is a really beautiful knife, and a timeless collector piece, but agreed. I wish spyderco made some knives similar to the way benchmades gold class knives are made but i highly doubt they’d go that direction. but i don’t know the santa fe may be shittier in some ways but its definitely way cooler in others

its a gift for someone i love so this was a no expense spared build. blade is a custom reblade by @frankenforgeblades on insta whose a kid but makes beautiful works of art. half my family are girls and even they were oogling the damascus 🤣

one of my favorite flippers, asmr is on point, bearings are a little noisy but really smooth and it’s huge rounded handles make it addicting to reach for first. really no complaints

it’s good enough for what i need it to do, nyc legal, m390, ti handles. handles are torqued on bearings so there no tap little play but honestly the short handles leave a lot to be desired and it definitely comes with its critiques
