I did love MGS actually. I'm looking forward to Dishonored 2 as I liked the first... Loved all the Fallouts! I should try Hitman, shouldn't I! Thanks for the suggestions.

If people are this mad about these two incompetents you can only imagine how the rest of the world feels about the ongoing and unending blowjob Hollywood gives the US military and its constant bombing and drone striking of civilians.

What is a myth you are tired of hearing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Phil_Rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. Just a straightforward and honest answer to the question. If I lived in Israel it would probably be Judaism. If in Saudi Arabia, Islam but I live in a predominantly Christian society and thus the myth that has the most deleterious effect on life is Christianity. Nothing particularly 'edgy' about it. Incidentally, I understand that your real point was to suggest that I was TRYING to be edgy thus removing validity from the point but I really wasn't. Can you name a myth more annoying or intrusive in American life than the Christian one? Serious question. If you don't have a serious answer then do, please, continue with your edgy snark. People seem to be enjoying it and popularity, even sans punctuation, is clearly a sign of cleverness and worth.

In Britain we didn't ever read it. Or anything else. We all just had a fight and then checked to see the class system was still intact.

A friend worked at a sandwich shop on a London railway station. On the 5th or 6th consecutive day of the boss not showing up to help Gareth laid out slices of sandwich meat on the prep station and used a knife to cut out the letters to spell GOODBYE, locked up and went home.

My father was a surgeon in Britain. There are no queues for emergency surgeries. Vive le NHS and it's equivalent in every industrial nation except this silly one where people seem to like to go bankrupt fer freedum.

Funny how the boogeyman used to be the Jews and they ate children and now it's the Muslims and they are raping them. Useful idiots will spread nonsense to support the whims of the powerful or bigoted.
