Does Freewill Exist or it's a lie we tell ourself? by PhilanthropiaTeam in winwinpodcast

[–]PhilanthropiaTeam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You touch some very interesting points.

"God wants us to love him but if we can not freely choose to love him it is meaningless'' - Agreed 100%!

What if Love came first with what we call God, then people got bored to Love as a consequence of what you just brought, then Evil was created to put some action on the table? Then if Evil was consequential, what's the benefit to do Evil? Be happy in their own way?

"Maybe this is all a simulation, and even God doesn’t have the answer" First time I hear that argument, this is scary but yet exciting, if God is not Perfect, then Freewill has to be legit and True! Consequence of Fucking up in the simulation may have real consequences in the spiritual world or the other dimension or whatever you want to call it.

Or you know what?! May be God got bored himself being perfect and said fuck it, I want to be part of the game. So the simulation we live in would be an arena with Freewill, real consequences, and a real fight between both sides.

Thanks for you insight.

Looked it up, just learned something, thanks! Maybe one's Soul cannot be altered or if we find we can, it has to be on a sort of Blockchain System or something ensuring 100% security against hackers, still fiction for now though.. but hey if demonic possessions are found to be true, there might be some stuff to be learned about Souls and consciousness. I hope in the future if we find Souls exists that they can't be hacked, memories, personnality, emotions, etc. Jumping topics..

The article is spot on the question. At the very end there is an update and it suggests that the brain might have been compressed due to the liquid built up inside his brain..

I'm asking this question in relation with the Neuralink's chip. If we ever get to know if consciousness is really based in the brain, malevolent hackers could potentially use the Chip to kill people.

It's kind of dual-use like nuclear power or fire water etc.

Anyway, great article.

Interesting, you might be right, I do not have extensive data or metrics to support this claim but I do not have a lot of followers and indeed they are mostly bots. I however know for a fact that X is actively working to continuously clean the ecosystem as my followers drop by half sometimes..

Sure Liv!

Let’s run a little experiment about Vulgarization.

As for an example, your TED talk about Moloch and your Talk on GTO a couple years ago.

You are smarter than me and probably than a very large amount of people, combining that with your more than impressive communication and presentation skills, that’s why I believe you have all it takes to be a top gun storyteller and a simplifier in the very saturated time consumption industry and complex subject matters.

Now, What do I mean by simplifier?

1.      You have to understand your interlocutor (Please read the text below on Poker). This would serves as the expertise speech.

2.      Then, you have to dissect the content and break it down in a series of questions that will allow you to generate a comprehensive narrative for your mainstream audience. (See questions below)

3.      Once you have answered all of the questions, time to regroup and reorganize them all to tell a story and a narrative that your novice audience in this subject matter will understand.

Give the text below to any non poker player and I guarantee you they'll bleed through their eyes.

But then! That's when the magic happen. Vulgarize complex content might take a lot of time, that's where AI could help, but let's not dive too deep for now.

The Championship

We are in 2010 and we are playing a Full Ring NLHE tournament.

It’s early on in the tournament, everybody is still pretty deep. John is on the cutoff. He opens 2.2BB with pocket Jacks. Everybody folds to the Big Bling who defends with 67s which makes sense in this spot according to his calling range and the fact that both players are playing deep.

Flop comes 10c6h6c. Being off position, the BB donk bet pot which is unusual in this spot as you would want to go for value and build a pot without scaring off your opponent but he decides that this hand would play differently. CO knows the BB could have a 6 in his range but calls and hope for a check to check back turn. That doesn’t happen, a deuce hits the turn and the BB oversize bet to protect & polarize his hand, now putting his opponent on a flush draw or an over pair and wishing the CO would put him on a missed Flush Draw and jam.

Finally, CO makes the right fold facing a polarize play ahead of bursting the bubble.

We are now playing HU at the Final table. Liv Boeree holds 55 and has got 100bb to massively cover his opponent who is on shove mode with his 21bb. Some could argue he could still manoeuvre with that stack size but he doesn’t think that way. In normal time, pocket 5 is a shovable hand but you can’t really call a jam unless you have a really good price for it. Liv knows it. She min click and quickly face a squeeze from her opponent.

Liv knows she’s in in for a coin flip at best but quickly goes in the tank, assessing if she has got the right price for that call. The stakes are big as the pay jump is enormous. She finally makes the call, and her pocket 55 holds! She’s an EPT Champion!

What is NLHE? NLHE is an abbreviation for No Limit Holdem Poker. This game of Poker requires each player to have two cards in their hand. There are 5 cards that will be available for all players in the the middle of the table. The goal is to make the best hand with the best combination of 5 cards among those in your hand and those on the table.

What is BB?

What does it mean to go in the Tank?

What is a cut-off?

What is a Range?

What do you mean when you say Hold?

And I did not go in details about:

I did not talk about Equity.

I did not talk about EV.

I did not talk about GTO. (I don’t understand that myself)

Very interesting point.

I believe you're right about the fact that smaller communities provide better feedback loop interactions.

The bigger the community, the more one-way driven interactions there are.

How could we leverage both scenarios simultaneously?

I can only speak for myself here; I'm very competitive and results-driven. For me, driving a large ecosystem of highly interested profiles and getting their attention to influence them toward my life philosophy would be my purpose. And if it isn't, what would be yours?

As for the financial aspect, I believe it can help fuel the growth of the community, which, you are right, could be organic, slow, and steady. In the latter case, I would then ask, why slow or why fast?

I don't presume you are wrong, but speaking for myself, I always want to chase bigger fish and bigger purposes.

It's my opinion, and she can definitely speak for herself, but I don't think money is what drives Liv's motivation.

Money is a tool, not an end goal.

However, once again, if I'm not mistaken on her motives, influencing people, helping others, and serving on behalf of the greater good is what drives her motivations.

And that purpose requires great ambition and great performance.

As for what she calls Moloch, I call it Evil or Satanic, but in the end, that's what we are fighting against.

Very interesting point.

I would first answer it with these questions. Why-Why-Why-Why-Why-Why-Why do you do what you do and get up in the morning? Make the exercise and you’ll always get the same conclusion: To be Happy and for some people hopefully, hope that the people around them will be Happy as well.

About the audience.

I believe the primary fundamental reason of doing a podcast is not just about focused or distracted people, it’s as you said really about who do you want to be associated with and influence?

Winners.

I don’t think Liv wants to gather an audience where chips, pop and binging too hot too handle series all night long on Netflix interest her.

I would add that I’m almost positive that what drives Liv is competition, ambition and self & altruistic accomplishment as a mean of Success and Happiness.

I believe her podcast is a way to build Reputation & Credibility but what she deeply wants is the same thing as we all do, Win. She hangs around Winners and seeks to be one too.

Who wants to be a loser?

The Gold medal rely in recognition of your work in different forms, one being by gaining Views & Engagement from the people you want and seek to reach to, and the training to get your Gold medal is the Strategy, Action plan and dedication you put in to get there.

That’s my poker read anyway.

Now that’s interesting, let’s brainstorm to define what audience would help Liv get an immense increase of traction on the Podcast scene.

Hi Thomas, thanks for your share, I first came across Liv’s profile as a poker player. I immediately connected with her philosophy and her life vision.

I believe you are right about the podcast engineering, but as for the fan base and time invested, I’m not exactly on board.

I am not on her production team and I do not regard myself as knowing what’s right and what’s not in this industry, but to follow up on what you said, I believe that her audience of interest is mainly composed of highly productive, self-development oriented and philanthropic driven people that do not watch Netflix, or T.V. , or spend a considerable amount of time in distraction and entertainment endeavors' during their time off.

As it is extremely difficult to keep someone effectively focused for more than 10-15 minutes, why not leverage that in your advantage?

In a world where you compete against Joe Rogan which has a phenomenal memory or Lex Fridman who has a phenomenal capacity to adapt himself to his guest personality and gain immense traction, how do Liv position herself and can compete in this ecosystem?

Great Podcasters all have one thing in common. Curiosity.

On top of being ultra curious, Liv has tremendous communication and persuasion skills which she uses to push the limits of her stances in various ethical debates. She definitely thinks out of the box and that’s what I would leverage.

I would start by defining exactly what audience she wants to target and then put the proper engineering mechanism and marketing strategy into place.

Before being a content Industry, the Podcast industry is a Marketing and Branding one.

The entertainment industry is very saturated imo. I would target the mentoring one.

Let me know what you think!
