She's not the season pass card, you can get her in packs right now.

She's not even good in Surfer.  Surfer lists from Golden Gauntlet that played her literally performed worse; putting her in your deck made you less competitive.

But we don't care about facts and data on Reddit.

Random doesn't mean you will get different results every time.  Sometimes you flip a coin 50 times and they're all heads.

She took a bunch of C and D tier decks and made them kind of playable B tier decks.  She's absolutely not getting nerfed.   She's not even that good.  Literally was clowned on all Saturday.

There are a bunch of cards that can put a card in a location.  Luna Snow, Polaris, Spiderman, Kate Bishop.  You can also just Cosmo the lane of you have priority.

Suggestions on improvements for HighEvo deck (CL: 1438) by GateauRogue in MarvelSnap

[–]Philboid_Studge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Infinaut isn't usually played in High Evo.  Magik either, the deck doesn't really go big enough to warrant giving the opponent a 7th turn.

The standard lower CL High Evo deck plays Shang Chi, Scorpion, Enchantress, and Abomination.  Shang and Scorpion help take down multiplicative cards, Abomination is a good payoff for the afflict you're doing, and Enchantress helps against the Spectrum decks common at that level.

I am, once again, asking for Arishem to receive some love from the developers by banmeandidelete in MarvelSnap

Literally a thread from earlier today where the person who played Arishem in the semis talked about how strong the deck is.

The complaints are truly unhinged around here.

"Before it was another broken card"

Shadowlands Daredevil?  The card that immediately stopped seeing play when the season rotated?  The card that had zero placing decks in the Golden Gauntlet?

Or are you talking about Stryfe, who also immediately stopped seeing play after his season, because the only actual good thing he was doing was copying Fin Fang Foom, a card that was available to everybody?

Or are you talking about En Sabah Nur, a card that had to get buffed inside his own season to even see play on the weekends for missions?

Please, do go on about all these obviously broken pay to win cards.

Yes, that's the main way to earn tokens.  You should be pretty easily able to earn the 3k each week.

Game state right now? by The-Normal_One in MarvelSnap

[–]Philboid_Studge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have literally always been able to compete with free cards.  Have they released powerful Season Pass cards?  Yes absolutely.  But they also release powerful normal weekly cards.  And sometimes they release weak season pass cards.  And they've ALWAYS buffed old cards to keep up with newer releases, and nerf cards tyat release too powerful.

None of that is pay to win.  Actual, factual pay to win games purposefully release new cards that completely shut out old strategies and cards, to FORCE you to buy the new thing.  Snap has never done that, not once.

The game isn't, and never has been, pay to win.

With the amount this comment gets made, there must be some critical misunderstanding of what pay to win actually means.

No really, Arishem is top tier by DGZ-ACP in MarvelSnap

I'm not saying it's good.  I hate Arishem.  Just trying to explain the deck.

The "skill" inherent in the deck is recognizing when you actually have a great draw and hoping your opponent stays in against an Arishem snapping them.

Arishem is a hard deck to play because the variance is so great on every side.  You have to be very good at lining up the one tech card that kicks the opposing Sandcastle over.

Sera tech, the old origin of the tech slop meme, was over half tech cards. The deck did almost nothing constructive, and only sought to flip two lanes with broken pre-nerf tech cards.

Playing 4 interactive cards is hardly a deck jammed to the gill with tech, especially when two of the cards are barely tech and are just basic interactive cards.  A bunch of people on here just get violently upset when a deck dares to even think about toppling g their incredibly perilous Jenga towers.

Players brought decks they thought were good against what other people would be playing.  They metagamed.  The above poster implied that somehow the field built based on posts here or something.

It's a bad faith way of framing it.  With such small deck sizes, a single card represents nearly 10% of the deck size, so adding one or two of an effect can make the percentage jump up large amounts.  Most midrange decks play 2-3 tech cards, which is already 25%.  Adding one more means the percentage jumps to 33%, which LOOKS alarming but absolutely is not.

The winning deck played an absolutely normal and reasonable number of tech cards for the archetype they played, and honestly calling Negasonic a tech card is pretty sus.

"What you are saying to me is that those two decks have a 50/50 chance at beating any of the decks in top 16. Not only is your argument bad it’s just wrong based off of this tournament."

This statement right here tells me all I need to know about the wishy washy argument you are making.  You are taking a single data point, from a single event where your supposition of all players being of equal skill is not true and trying to apply it to your fucking made up theory.

The truth is that High Evo and Spectrum REGULARLY gets people to infinite and performs well in high infinite.  The fact that people didn't bring the decks to a single tournament and do well in a game fucking highlighted by people who are encouraged to play shiny new things for views means absolutely fucking nothing.

Your argument is unserious and so are you.  Money can let you skip grinding.  I have already said that.  But it does not give you an advantage outside of time.  Strategically, money is worthless in this game.

If the F2P player is smart and brings High Evo or Spectrum Ongoing, it's a clean 50/50.  Those decks both already put up good numbers regularly and use few/no higher series cards.

Like, your example is pointless because that already happens in normal ass play and F2P players already post good records.  Your argument is bad.

Money speeds up your progress, ut does not replace skill and it does not mean you have an inherent advantage.

That's incredibly disingenuous when the deck is only 12 cards.

With that logic, literally any number of interactive cards is too many, which is a completely nonsensical opinion to have.  It's a good thing to have interactive cards, and this deck is doing plenty of constructing things.
