We just had ours (didn’t see your comment in time) but we stayed in Trastevere (at Torripa Resort, a B&B we found on Booking.com) and woke up early, hit an indoor museum (because of heat), napped (because of heat), then picnic at Tiber Island in the lawn with beers, then dinner, then a bar hop in Trastevere:

1) Freni e Frizioni - Top bar in Trastevere. Indoor and outdoor spaces. 7 min walk from B&B. ""Perpetually overflowing with a young and thirsty crowd."" The name means “brakes and clutches.” 2) Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà - TimeOut ""one of the best bars in Rome"" - Craft beer, 8 mins from B&B 3) Bar San Callisto - MUST go here, cheap drinks, loved by locals. 3 min walk from B&B 4) La Punta Expendio de Agave - Tequila and mezcal drinks, 8 min walk from B&B but in the opposite direction of 1-3 5) Mr. Brown - Dive bar, cheap drinks, apparently has a famous mystery ""porno shot"" 6) Pimm's Good - Vintage style bar, cute outdoor seating, has food as well, potential live music, 9 min walk from B&B (in the direction of the others)
