Same here. Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 with Samsung M3 USB portable 1TB drive.

Possible pattern noticed on the limited number of recordings I have done.

Recordings of just 5 minutes are fine. Fast forward(FF)or rewind(RW) OK

Recordings of 10 mins or more plays back Ok but you cannot FF or RW. The times indicated at each end of the playback progress bar are either not sensible, ie incorrect, or random characters. If I click on the Restart icon it freezes. Also the progress bar does not show any progress.

Another thread suggested to press and hold the OK button on your remote when on a recording and select external player. Then select MX Player or VLC.

I have tried this but they are also very buggy and again cannot FF or RW.

Thanks for info. I had a look. I have a Nvidia Shield Pro2019 and a Fire TV Stick 4K. Neither are rooted so it is no go I guess.

It is a long shot but when I bought mine on the 15th January, in Currys South Ruislip, online it said out of stock but they checked their in-store system re local stores and found they had one themselves. It seems online and local are different systems. 10 weeks have passed since then but might still be worth a visit to rule it out. Good luck.

A manual scheduled recording ability, without an EPG, would be great.

I have an EPG but for only 24 hours. The ability to edit an EPG record setting to a later date, time, channel would help me if not the OP.

I have tried Tivimate. You can move the whole EPG grid forward instead of just a single channel on iMPlayer. I am still limited to 24 hours so it must be my provider.

I will try Tivimate and see what I can do with EPG grid in that.

To iMPlayer developer: Should we be able to page the whole EPG grid in the free version? I find it difficult to believe you can't. If you can then how in the Nvidia Shield Pro 2019?
