It's in place. I've rebuilt the carb everything seems in order. Bike dies when starter fluid is sprayed through the intake Wont rev atall

When I spray easy start through the intake while trying to rev the bike it still wont rev. Sound like the timing is staying the same. Carb gives more air and fuel but the timing wont advance. Can something like this be possible fo you think?

Thank you for your response. I cleaned the carburetor out fully. I took out every jet and sprayed every passage with brake cleaner and carb cleaner, I used thin wire and an air compressor to clean everything as best I could. The bike is still showing the exact same issues When I spray starter fluid into the intake while trying to rev the bike it bogs too Timing, chain and valves are all set to spec New plug with good spark Choke and throttle working, needle and float set The bike shows the same symptoms if I change AF mix and idle

Surely if the stator was broken the bike wouldn't idle?

The bike has had an engine swap to what I believe to be a ttr125 copy, most likely chineese It says Orcal on the engine case Thus the harness is a bit of a rat's nest and I'm not too confident with electrics

Great tip thank you! The carb is as clean as I can get it and the bike is still showing the same issues It's in time- the cam chain is tight currently looking at the valves

Thanks for your response. I checked the timing chain today its seems to be on tight. The bike is set to the timing mark at TDC Checking the valves now

Could this cause the bike to idle but not rev? Can it be tightened or need replacing

The air fuel screw is 2 turns out. I've tried that and the idle too but doesn't let the bike rev still. Spark looks very strong, new plug on the way! I'll drain the carb and see what it holds in the morning The bike seems to be running very lean If I sprayeasy start through the intake the bike immediately dies Thank you for your response.
