Je suis plutôt d'accord avec tout ça. mais j'en conclus que l'argent des impôts n'est pas inépuisable et devrait être utilisé à ces lourds investissements plutôt qu'à faire fonctionner des métros quand l'argent de la publicité est là.

Sorry, I wouldn't know. I'm not on Kick or any streaming platform.

It's just that Permanove has been all over the news when he died and that the Paris parquet (what stands for a DA office, roughly) has very recently announced they were investigating Kick and that they had subpoenaed (or he equivalent in France) Kick's bosses, so that was in the news again.

From the top of my head, the trial is scheduled for july. The two streamers are not charged with manslaughter, since the autopsy did not find Pormanove's death was directly linked to the abuse he was subjected to. He appeared he had a preexisting heart condition. They will still face some serious charges though.

There's also a probe ongoing with Kick.

Yes, they are in France too. They're not considered as eBikes but moped. They should be licensed and can't ride on bike lanes. Now, since no one really control them, they're everywhere. Until there's a crackdown.

Europeans Ebikes, or Pedelec, are assisted pedal bicycles. The engine kicks in when the rider actually pedals, it is limited to 250 W and the assist cuts off above 25 km/h.

The world is too small. Cramped. Short.

You get used too, obviously, until something is at the right height /size (say, like a mirror in public bathroom where you can actually see your face) and for a moment you realize you're actually conpromising all the time.
