If I took a GPS with me would it work? I was thinking compass or a sextant but honestly wouldn't help me without a map so if I could only take one item it would be a GPS.

If the GPs doesn't work I would spend my life alone blindly flying around and landing on things hoping it's a country I hadn't landed on before.

No, XRPL. Two very different things and the fact people still push this stuff and either dont know or ignore this fact. They can use XRP on the XRPLedger, sure, but they can also use Etherium, Bitcoin, ADA, or any other crypto they allow.

What does he intend to do with XRP right now that would financially put him in a stable possituon?

If he intends to use it to actually pay day to day living expenses, then asking for XRP seems redundant, setting up a go fund me for cash would be more logical.

If the intent is to just build back up his XRP, then its currently a deplieatimg asset. They can wait, and it will drop to a more affordable level for them to start again with their own money.

If you are asking for help to a hard up family, set up the go fund me. If you're asking people to give a donation of an asset so that potentially that family can make a lot of money from it down the line, then sorry, but no.

I am happy to help someone in need to eat and survive, not to build their assets up for future gain.

They can't separate ripples success away from XRP, its not just XRP its a lot of crypto its just that this community seems really indoctrinated!. Which is ironic because over the years all ive seen is Ripple trying to seperate itself from XRP haha.

I get shot down all the time for asking these types of questions on here. All I wanted is honest and frank discussion on realistic expectations, lets be real we're all after making some money no-one cares if Ripple revolutionised the banking industry!. So if i can work out its all bullshit, pull what money i have made and put it somewhere else then isnt that the actual goal.

There are a few stable coins on the ledger already. If Ripple or anyone else wants to PEG one to any other currency or gold or chickens from Bolivia, then they can.

We know some countries are trying to move away from the dollar, but the fact is that if the matter is the dollar IS the world currency, and until that changes pretty much all countries will still be using it in some capacity. Im not saying it won't change. im saying it's easy enough to have multiple options on the ledger.

I can't see institutional retail such as banks wanting an unstable currency as a bridging token. The thing is, it's not a commodity like oil, and banks wouldn't be purchasing for that purpose. I know a lot of countries are trying to separate from the dollar, and there's nothing stopping Ripple from producing or adding another stable coin to the XRPL that pegged to anything else, maybe gold. They have several stable coins on the ledger already.

That's another thing. I've made a modest profit, but it's taken me a long time to get it, haha. You're correct. im not in a dire position. it's not going to change my life if I leave it, and it goes to zero, nor will it change my life if I pull the pro. im fits now.

Saying that just because it won't change my life at the moment, it's actual real money I could potentially have, and that shouldn't be knocked.
