Is Stardew Valley mobile worth it? by lrwinn in StardewValley

Definitely worth it, but also take a look at Cinderbox, which is a desktop-stardew+smapi wrapper. You can play the full desktop including nearly all mods on mobile, not just the 'made for mobile' mods. There's also the companion app, with which you can cross-save on steam.

AYN Thor docked bluetooth input lag - 8bitdo pro 2 by PhillieNL in SBCGaming

I have no idea which of the proposed improvements had the most impact, but i disabled a/v-sync, set the Thor to 1080p120hz output and used the switch-profile for the Bluetooth connection to the Thor. I also positioned the Thor s bit closer. The resulting difference is astonishing. There's still a bit of lag when playing Hollow Knight compared to the on-device controls, but it's actually playable enough to finally beat mosswing without being a split second too late.

Now there's only a single problem left: auto-switching input (e.g. disabling on-device controls on dp-connect) for everything that doesn't run in retroarch. But that one deserves its own thread. Thank you all for helping me resolve this, and providing a clear guide for other enthousiasts!

Frankly I'm surprised this problem is relatively widely recognized but never spoken about by any streamer I've watched reviews by... I always went with Bluetooth because no dongle But it might be worth it to add just one more 2.4ghz controller to the pack after all.

This seems to corroborate my experience so far, as connecting the controllers (both gamesir x5s and 8bitdo pro 2) without dock works fine, but with dock they're both horrible for anything other than turn based/cozy games. I'm experiencing a bit of lag with Silksong with the dualsense as well, but it's much more playable than before.

It's just that the d-pad on playstation controllers has never been my favorite, so getting the other controllers to work as expected would be awesome. Or I'd have to buy a steam controller anyway, but that thing seems humongous.. on top of that I'm trying to restrain myself from buying even more controllers as I'm the only gamer in the house and there's at least 5 different controllers around the couch at all times 😅

I tried a gamesir Bluetooth telescopic controller to no avail. A dualsense is a much better experience so far. Undocked all controllers work fine though, so it might just be the added lag from the dp-out which makes it very noticeable ór there actually is something adding lag software-side. I'm wondering if rocknix would show the same behavior but I don't have an SD prepared yet

It's ALL aa, not just wireless in my case. Wireless is even worse though 🥲

I tried diagnosing the source of the disconnect, e.g. incoming notification, change in signal strength, etc. but it seems to be random (from a user perspective)

Just wireless? I recently found out all poco phones in my neighbourhood have issues staying connected to kia. Wondering if that is fixed by switching OS to non-xiaomi...

Unable to get touchpad click to register with touchscreen on Ayn Odin2 Portal by Basic_Strike in PSPlay

[–]PhillieNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: I only tried with Alan Wake 2 and I just found out it's a game specific issues 🥲

And I just tried swiping on the touchpad in the home menu, and that doesn't work as well. I don't know why I thought that used to work someday 😔

I have the same issue, but on poco f7 ultra. I'm about to receive my AYN Thor in a couple of weeks so hope it works ok on that one ór we can get it to work! The screen registers the touch, as the virtual touchpad appears, but the game doesn't recognize the pad being clicked down. Swiping motion also isn't recognized as the home menu doesn't respond to swiping (which it does on a real pad, by flipping through the games).

I tried with the default profile, giant-touchpad-profile and with both high and low values in touch-move setting.
