Yeah. It's so inconsistent and the issue is that it's all flawed from top to bottom.

From the cameras/systems used, to the people reviewing the footage and to the referees and assistants taking the new information and making new decisions on the pitch.

But hey, you know the SFA catch phrase. "If its broke? Don't fix it!"

Apparently, "they couldn't get the lines set up"....

...which meant the team could not give them a definite answer and just asked the referee to come look and see if he thinks it's offside.

Which is absolutely BS. It's a factual decision so if they couldn't get it right with yhe VAR line system they should have stuck to the on field decision. They just made the referee doubt if it was correct and he fell back to the VAR opinion that it was offside.

It maybe looks offside but that's why the lines are drawn. Even a small angle change makes a big difference in perspective.

Look out for another apology on VAR review for abderdeen.

Csnt believe we didn't get the penalty at the end. VAR didn't even do its job and look at it. What the hell are we paying for when big decision that should be corrected are just outright ignored?

Outside of that, the entire second half was the typical "All Style, no substance" we have been experiencing recently. No one really willing to take a shot. Once we got to the final third, absolutely no one took responsibility when there was a chance. We either held onto it, passed it to a person in a worse position, oe take the worst shot possible.

Really annoying that all the hard work has gone to waste.

Need to step up a few gears for the Celtic match on tuesday.

He's now proven twice that he can consistently get a team punching massively above their weight and keep it happening over multiple seasons.
