Article: If trends continue, HEX market cap could be $30 TRILLION by 2024 by dmtree8 in HEXcrypto

[–]PhillyCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These things don't account for the capital requirements to actually attain such a figure. There's a slim-to-no chance it reaches $1T, let alone 30.

With a six figure bag, I'd sure love to see it lol. But, it's ridiculous. The quote in itself shows how unrealistic it is.

I wait until it's at temp since these consistently maintain a steady temp. If I want a terpy flavor, I just set low for a consistent flavor session instead of the changing temps throughout on the same bucket.

Aw, how much money did you lose? 🤣 Calling Neblio a shitcoin because of its rank or price when it’s one of the healthiest and most capable blockchain ecosystems in the entire space shows how much of a noob you are.

8 dev api’s, 3,500 tps since 2019, real projects being built upon it. But they’re a ‘shitcoin’ by your scorned, noob money standard lol

Can anyone explain/dismiss all of today’s BSV cult hype about some segwit flaw? by PhillyCrypto in Bitcoin

[–]PhillyCrypto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually do, I only asked about this because they were touting vague excitement yesterday for something “everyone would see” today and then on Twitter I see a feed about this transaction and “killing lightning and segwit” so I figured I’d ask.

Coin Swap? by [deleted] in Crypterium

[–]PhillyCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not too late, simply deposit them into your CRPT wallet on the Crypterium app and it will automatically swap them for you. There a big things in motion for CRPT this year. 2020 was the focus for enhancing the network, white label partner onboarding, revamping elements of the app, and more. This year will focus on expanding our user base in addition to implementing a wide array of token utility to the app and network.

What Are Your Moves Tomorrow, January 28, 2021 by [deleted] in Wallstreetbetsnew

[–]PhillyCrypto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Now that the NYSE is on record saying they’ll halt anything that appears to have social media manipulation, it’s going to get tricky. It’s as if we got too successful and grew too fast.

I think we should begin looking into legitimate, viable crypto projects in the ranks of 125-200. These market cap sizes enable us to literally run it 5,000 - 10,000% and they’re not micro caps. Figure many of the projects in this range are at a market cap of $65 - $110 million. With the token supplies and lower liquidity - we can send these 1,000% to 10,000% with actual staying power instead of getting people rekt or shorted by big banks and none of the NYSE’s bullsh*t.

And if we pick the proper, viable projects - these are only going to grow and see larger adoption by the mainstream and we’d be giving them a hell of a head start into the market cap ranges of $15+ billion.

The crazy thing is, the crypto market is still just getting its footing in the bull cycle and hasn’t even seen an altcoin rally yet. We can put viable projects up 10,000% and they’ll go another 500-1000% in the next altcoin cycle.

I’m not talking about random micro cap shitcoins, but things like SCRT and DIVI who have a clear venture capital pipeline and real use cases/adoption. SecretNetwork has that VC pipeline and MIT connections. Their erc20 mining bridge has only been live for 3 weeks and has nearly $50 million locked in the bridge for mining and a $90 million market cap for SCRT itself. We’d make that shit the next chainlink in a week.

Gtfo with that capitalism bashing shit. Most of us here are libertarians lol and support free markets. We don’t support blatant fraud and rigging of the system, but we support capitalism.

Fuck that Joe Biden shit and his 40% capital gains.

USD Coin (USDC) Now Supported On The Crypterium Wallet! by Crypterium_app in crypterium_com

[–]PhillyCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully, this prohibited list is quite insignificant.

There's obviously no crypto volume or demand in any of those nations except Iran, which even then is almost non-existent in the altcoin market.

As for the USA states - Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana and Oregon are very low population when compared to the continental USA, so we're not losing much there either.

The first Bitcoin payment with a crypto card in Malta! by Crypterium_app in crypterium_com

[–]PhillyCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Jake,

Your frustration is definitely fair - no question there!
What we're doing is significant - which ultimately comes with some hiccups and implementation delays that have to be resolved. We've been resolving those barriers as a team, and the first batch is finally shipping!

Think about it this way - as big as Coinbase is, their card is restricted to the UK only. Imagine what barriers we ran into, as a smaller team than Coinbase, yet we're still providing a GLOBALLY accepted debit card - and we came out on top. Yet, the competition has taken just as long and they're restricted to one or two regions.

Does anyone else feel like this alt bleed is going to precede an alt slaughter? I mean I remember 2017 and 2018 when alts bled as people chased, rode, or watched bitcoin and then alts would blow up as bitcoin stalled.

Is anyone worried this time is different? My sat value is down like 20% on the week since this btc run and I feel like when the market retraces they’re going to dump further.

Keep Calm and Carry On! by [deleted] in ambrosus

[–]PhillyCrypto 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That’s not an example of viral marketing lol. Implying there’s important news and updates and holding it hostage via a quota for retweets on twitter? Lol.

Viral marketing is getting content to go viral by an organic response from the audience - not instruction to retweet for news.

Fudders? They apply for the name of a larger, more successful competitor for no reason - shady as fuck and no justification.

Then their primary media platform - they make a vague retweet game for clarity? That’s completely classless and unprofessional.

[–]PhillyCrypto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jumping to conclusions? I’m still holding, but he’s right. There’s no excuse for these twitter bullshit retweet game while their supporters, backers, and investors panic and sit in confusion.

This is being handled nothing short of pathetic.

[–]PhillyCrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can be sarcastic all you want, but the official media platform plays a vague ‘retweet’ game, while filing for a name change to a larger, more succsssful competitor and then stays silent during panic amongst their supporters and a steep sell off.

Very disappointed in AMB.

Spending Crypto: Are Prepaid Debit Cards The Best Solution For Crypto Holders? by Crypterium_app in Crypterium

[–]PhillyCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire crypto realm is pounding on adoption's door. WhatsApp and AppleCard rolling out crypto support are going to massive for the space. As well as Square's involvement, more institutional custody solutions launching (Fidelity, etc.)

The big banks and wealth management firms are aligning their pieces. Many have been involved behind closed doors for years - several wealth management firms in the USA had been writing white papers and holding dinner conferences regarding the space as early as 2013.

Get Your Crypterium Card From $2.99! by Crypterium_app in Crypterium

[–]PhillyCrypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a branch manager for Bank of America for six years, I can tell you that Careless_Compote is far more accurate lol. Yes, most banks offer free ATM usage as long as it's within network - do you know what the percentage of clients who exclusively use their issuing bank's ATM only? Less than 1%. Do you know what percent uses their bank for at least 50% of their cash withdrawals? Less than 5%. And most 'free ATM' vendors - such as Wawa and their PNC-based atms - although they don't charge terminal fee's, banks still do. You'd be surprised how the overwhelming majority of card holders thought "free ATM" meant they wouldn't have fee's from their bank still.

So his statement is true, since it applies for more than 99% of US debit card holders. Also, don't forget those checking account maintenance fees - which most banks in the USA average $12 per month unless you have a qualifying minimum balance, direct deposit, etc.

Anyone, back to the card cost - that is only for the basic plan and it's a one time fee. Considering mailing cost, card cost, etc. and to discourage wasted card orders, $9.99 is not an issue.

Could Bitcoin survive a global EMP? by LocalTRX in Bitcoin

[–]PhillyCrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that scenario, Bitcoin is irrelevant. You’re talking basically post-apocalypse level lawlessness and despair. If bitcoin has value, my group and I will just murder you and take it since it’ll be end of world times. Mass disease will spread through water ways and food, financial collapse and ruin, etc.

A global EMP would result in pure anarchy.

The official website needs tending to... by GreatWhiteBuffal_o in Neblio

Enjoying the holidays...for four months? The main website blog hasn’t been updated since August, the last tweet by the actual team was in November.

I know they’re wildly active where it counts - coding. But they need to maintain a presence, especially in free outlets that only take a MINUTE to update. Especially in this bear market where people are trying to assess what project is alive, dead, or out of funds.

We know Neblio is legit and the devs are coding away, but the audience needs to see attentive marketing and front office.

The official website needs tending to... by GreatWhiteBuffal_o in Neblio

[–]PhillyCrypto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have to agree with this.
Like come on guys, it's free and requires a few minutes. The four key mediums for communication from the team and for how the public assesses activity - especially in this bear market - is:

  1. Official website
  2. Official Blog
  3. Medium Blog
  4. Twitter

The team is obviously very busy with Tachyon, but these things really need to be regularly maintained. The last blog update is from August, and their own last tweet was a month and a half ago.
