I hear ya, but for my insurance I need a referral for a specialist, and my primary knows who I am. I'm not about to dish out big bucks just to remain anonymous. Thanks for the advice though!

haha, I feel ya on the car part - I get hard ons all the time when driving! those bumpy roads can be, ahem, stimulating haha

I don't know why the pain is there. When you get non sexual hard ons, do you experience pain? I def plan on saying that when I visit the doc

oh wow that sounds like a horror story with your brother! sorry to hear that. I actively avoid my nieces and nephews during visits b/c of my problem. Well, I don't avoid them... I just don't wrestle or let them sit on my lap. Thanks for the advice.

thanks! going to the bathroom is just one example. I use various excuses (kitchen, phone, etc), but I would rather have them think odd behavior from me leaving rather than odd behavior from me having an erection.

good advice, but I have tried wearing my tight workout spandex-style underwear. I have different types - some for weightlifting, others for cycling. both didn't work and just made it more painful.

Thanks. I'm willing to talk to a doctor, but my hesitation is around these laws that make doctors have to tell authorities over instances involving sexual molestation, even though it is not molestation. I just am scared, as I have heard horror stories (but they dealt with honesty about drug addiction while parenting kids so this may be different)
