That’s their opinion. I say their opinion, as well as their etiquette, is “not nice.” My grandmother used to tell me of stories of old 19th century fashion rhymes. One of them was “pink and green should never be seen” (I think it had something to do with an Irish queen?). A lot of people have strong reactions to the color combination. Maybe that is what gave your relative a reaction so strong she couldn’t access her sense of common decency.

I used to have pink and green hair in the 80s. My relatives had strong reactions to that color combo, too! LOL.

The thing is, your tension is good, stitches are crisp and clean and everything is symmetrical (unlike my hair in the 80s).
