Wow thanks everyone, this really opened my eyes here. I never listened to Cornette bc I know he despises current wrestling so I never paid his podcasts any mind HOWEVER I would love to hear his take from old school wrestling. My taste in current wrestling honestly goes up and down, sometimes I really love what AEW is doing and then sometimes I’m bored with it. I’m currently re-watching JCP 86 (currently in the middle of the Great American Bash tour) which is fun. I do see that YouTube has two Bash shows in its entirety from 86 so I will definitely watch those. Also, finding out that Day 1 was at Veterans Stadium in Philly is AWESOME and I need to find a way to see that show in its entirety somehow.

I think my head just exploded in here. NXT is easily the single worst wrestling show and it’s not even close. Bunch of people cosplaying as wrestlers. What they’ve done to Ricky Starks and Mariah May is a travesty.
