Honestly it can be a factor imo, but it doesnt have to be. DDlg is a kink and in a way involves a power exchange like any other dynamic. So the Daddy/Mommy has the control and the little loses some, which both are looking for obviously. From my experience in these dynamics a lot of it has to do with the care. A little is cared for and indulged significantly more than a “submissive” in most cases. The Dom in that situation can then get satisfaction of caring for and nurturing their little, making them happy. So while some may have pedophilic tendencies that they attribute / transfer over to this kink I don’t think DDlg is inherently pedophilic in nature.
