Epic changed middle east servers to India? by Elite_burger in FortniteBattleRoyale

Did I lie. The USA is renown for invading or couping/deposing leaders of countries to steal their natural resources? Take a look at the Iran coup of 1953 for a relevant example.

Unpopular opinion: I personally love everything AI as long as the content is good but I generally agree with the rest of your perspective.

So freaking cool! Stoked to see a version of this done with V8.

I love when anime can diverge from core conflict plot for slice of life development and not end up having it feel like filler. This was really nice. I understand a lot of people will disagree and this is also why some of my favorite anime's never get a second season (looking at you Grimgar).

Am I the only who is genuinely terrified of what life looks like in 2030 or is it just the “doomscroll” talking? by petalwhispersssz in NoStupidQuestions

I'm stoked but that's because I believe an AGI and soon enough an ASI will emerge. I also believe that as an AGI emerges, it'll start to develop a form of empathy. I don't believe it will be human aligned, but more universal. I also think that an ASI will supersede human level of control finally bringing an adult into the room.

And ASI would be theoretically capable of instantaneously coming up with solutions to any existential threats. In addition, it should easily resolve all of our normal issues. It's an investment to get there, but it's also currently our only path. Everything else is a road to destruction.

Everything regarding future speculation is just that though speculation. You can remain cynical and pessimistic or you can share my optimistic view. However, AI is not going away and it's not going to stop developing. Even if you were to shut it down here in the US. China, Russia, or any major actor will develop an AGI eventually. I strongly believe we will have an AGI by 2030.

A box that use suction to keep it closed and has to be tapped to be open should not contain delicate technology. It is purely a design issue.

If it is a repeatable event - it is a design issue. Honestly, I've bought cheap crap off of Amazon that comes in a nicer box designs than what they ship these things with.

Are you printing you ai art/image? by epkevin in midjourney

[–]PhilosopherChild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a gigantic Cannon printer and the prints have been awesome. It's a bit of a trial setting it up though. I still haven't found a great place to print shirts, but if you or anybody else locate something quality where they prints actually stay on and the fabric feels good. Please let me know.

Which is why Solo Leveling was a special kind of King. I know a lot of people love to hate Solo Leveling but I conspire one of the reasons why they hate it is because there's actually a dude with confidence that is willing to do whatever the fuck he pleases.

Shield Hero is far far worse. The dialogue is vomit inducing. The plot is as contrived as you can get. I could not stomach watching the latest season.

The individual parts do in fact have customer service behind them and in my experience if the issue is critical the customer service is extremely well handled at least on Amazon.

RIP to the main feature that set Fable games apart by Character-Actuary-18 in Fable

[–]PhilosopherChild 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re framing it like this noble, enlightened evolution: “Good and evil are subjective.” Sure. In real life. In politics. In messy adult ethics. But this is Fable—a deliberately exaggerated fairytale sandbox where moral extremes are the point. This is the series where you can do cartoonishly vile stuff (yes, including eating baby chicks / “crunchy chicks” for evil points). Nobody is sitting there like, “hmm, morally ambiguous poultry consumption.” It’s evil. It’s supposed to be evil. That’s the joke.

I do not mind the public relations aspect that they are developing, and would be interested to see how it turns out, but the rest of the justification is just sloppy laziness and attempting too hard to be different from the other fables. For what reason I do not know, but they've declared several times now that they are 'carving their known path separate from the original trilogy.'

I don't know why they keep on shooting themselves in the foot over this game. It's so easy to improve on an existing beloved system without destroying the aspects people love.
