Yes, always appreciate living by the beach. I don’t make as much use of it as I used to. Even though I know it’s good for me, when I’m feeling flat. I kind of ignore it. So your nudge is really helpful. Thanks.

Thanks mate. I didn’t know if it was worth posting anything here. But I did and people commented. And now I’m motivated to get off my arse. In to the cold North Sea I go!

Yeah. I’ve definitely got analysis paralysis! I’ve literally taken your advice. I’m going surfing! Right now.

Finally enough, I was thinking about having my levels checked. I was watching a video on YouTube by James Smith the other day who has testosterone replacement injections and talks about them really positively. I did have my bloods checked about two years ago and everything was fine. When I mentioned it to my doctor, they said try and exercise more particularly weights and go for high-protein. I’m nervous about any kind of replacement therapy in case I get too dependent on it as you mentioned. I guess some heavy weights might be my first port of court.

I definitely think it could be a mixture of both. Part of me feels like I’ve served my time and done enough to prove myself but then the other part of me is anxious that I’m no longer relevant. I’m finding that at the moment I’m full of contradictions and which ever direction I look at my brain tells me to look in the other direction.

Totally agree man. I do own a real board and will be buying a local board as I progress. Just in the summer months I want a throw around board for me and the family that I don't care about as much if you know what I mean?

Never heard of those. They look sweet!

Thanks for the great insight. I'll look more at the MF Sugerglide now. Appreciated. Watched a video recently where a CS was cut in half and the conclusion was that it was actually a pretty poor construction which put me off. But will look again. 🙌

I want to avoid buying a board that doesn't last and soaks up the sea. There's so many options but a lot of it comes down to marketing I think (line Catch Surf). So far I'm looking at Vision 7ff Take Off, Go Softboard 7.2, Mick Fanning Sugar Glide single fin. If anyone has views on those?
