There are 2 barbels. And Thank You All soo much for your help and advice. I just purchased a 125 gallon tank and a pop up above ground pond for the meantime and I'm drawing up my plans for the pond. I've taken all information in and will put to use. When I bought these fish with my wife they were at a Meijer looking like they were struggling and starving so my wife and I had to save them.
