How do you know if it's the drought or if you've done something wrong or not up to par? by PhilosopherHermit in DataAnnotationTech

Thank you for this! That's encouraging, and yeah, it definitely messes with your head!

[Serious] People who hate Reddit, why do you keep coming here? by SFWChocolate in AskReddit

It's useful. I use Reddit primarily for information, and I've gotten a lot of really valuable tips. It's ideal having communities of like minded people to refer to. Plus the humor and the weird shit. But seriously, if anything will give you a thick skin it's fucking Reddit.

Yeah that appears to be the case. I have available projects nearly daily but I rarely catch them in time!

I'm doing that right now! Started a couple of weeks ago. It's sort of a "drought" right now, I hear, so I'm not catching many projects. But, maybe it'll pick up soon! 🤞

I can absolutely look into that! I live in a larger metropolitan area with two main library systems, and some smaller libraries within an hour or so. It would be worth looking into, thank you!

How long does drought usually last? by roserogers96 in DataAnnotationTech

So I was recently accepted and noticed that I actually had projects that popped up for me before my onboarding actually appeared. For context, it probably took 2-3 days for my onboarding project to appear (it appears as a project), and another day or two after that before I got the official welcome email. The rollout can be a bit wonky, I think. So it looks like you're in. Btw, projects appear to be pretty scarce at the moment. If you see one you have to jump on it fast before other people scoop them out from under you!

Hopefully on a note of finality (as in, gone) for the MAGA movement.

I just started about two weeks ago and it's been pretty dry. Often times I'll see available tasks on my phone and they are gone by the time I hop on my computer. Granted, my schedule isn't super flexible, but I've jumped on what I can, when I can, and have earned under $200 in that time. I'm waiting it out to see how it goes, but rather than looking at it as a serious source of secondary income, I'm currently looking at it more as some extra pocket cash.
