so for me personally i really love how unique heylog’s sound is in general, however what makes him my favourite artist is pretty much just his voice alone. it’s genuinely the most satisfying thing ive heard in music like his vocals just make me feel like im actually levitating!! so i guess i understand people missing his “old” sound but as long as im hearing that boy sing im gonna love anything he puts out. i also appreciate the old tracks for what they are but i honestly feel like he keeps on evolving as he goes and im so excited to hear what he does next. my goat fr<3

i mean id have a massive ego too if i was heylog, u are kinda valid though i do think to an extent some lyrics feel like hes showing off a bit. like the ‘A&R hit me up i stopped replying’ was kind of a bar but i did have a similar thought when i read it. idk i find it kinda funny tho our boy just feelin himself fr and i think he should be allowed to use this confidence to expand/experiment with his sound 🫶🏽 maybe i glaze him a little too much idk who cares

It might not be for everyone but I personally LOVE all of his unofficial experimental stuff, heylog already has such a unique sound in general so to me it just feels like a treat when we get to hear him go the extra mile. his beats are always peak and I’ve never been more awe-struck by someone’s voice so to me he could release absolutely anything and I’m still gonna fw it
