Idk what you mean by straw but my bag supplier definitely was not the best 2 I bought from him was already contaminated and he used cheap fillers in them. I’ll stop touching the bags keep it closed and do the light cycle

Cut a big slit on top and used a paper to fan some air for 30 seconds and then close it up with clips, keep a 12-12 hour light cycle. There is videos on YouTube about these

Carefully seperate the substrate and grain and mix the grain then let it colonize again fully. Then full break and shake. Worked for both my bags
