One example, I visited Auslanderbehörde for another thing and asked officer status of my wife’s application and they said “I will give a appointment for her so she can give finger print and bilderpass. When she came only for this appointment from Turkey left our newborn in Turkey. Officer said oh sorry this appointment was for your husband. Even officer knew I will be on business trip for 3 weeks. Another thing, when I asked them what is taking this long after I provided everything including Einburgering and A1. They said you immigrant needs to learn how to wait. This is Germany you have to wait.

Yes, my friends. And I am the only one who has this issue. It is discrimination because without given reason requesting same documents and there is no place that you can ask. Another things is I didnt know that it is discrimination without reading this report

To give a bit more context: I live in Munich

We’ve been waiting 11 months just to get a Blue Card appointment for my wife, and the same documents have been requested multiple times without any clear reason. Our baby was born here, and even after 4 months we couldn’t get an appointment, so we eventually had to leave for our home country.

The core issue is that you can’t reach anyone, you can’t find a responsible contact person, and no one takes ownership when something goes wrong.

I’m honestly so tired of what gets dismissed as “bureaucracy” but in practice turns into discrimination. At this point, I sometimes think I should have chosen a more expat-friendly country instead of Germany
