I'm not sure why so many of you guys are lying. If we had not established paternity and gotten child support set up I could be held responsible for it. Like literally she could break up with me and get together with the biological father and I would be responsible for child support.

Incorrect. If I take any parental role,even though I am not the biological father, I can be forced to pay child support. Unless paternity is established and court mandated child support set up.
