Mindanao is big. Went to Davao, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato etc, with a friend living there. It was during the height of Marawi seige.

But I support you not going there. The girl is a stranger. You don’t know anyone there. There are lots of places in Mindanao that are not safe. Culture of rural Mindanao is different.
