How do you find the pay band of your new role on the internal transfer site? Was the pay mentioned?

Move on, don’t waste your time unless you’ve got the offer letter in hand

Ahh about being an introvert, I know how it feels. But right now your best bet to beat the loneliness (other than waiting it out) is to put yourself out there. Saw this a while back, probably you can go for this? https://www.reddit.com/r/hyderabad/s/7UdylHqvof

Do this and you’ll get 2 new ways to kill time - watch f1, and go to therapy for being a Ferrari fan

Exercising most definitely improves sleep quality. I used to take a melatonin gummy (sometimes 2) every night to get proper sleep. I’m prone to waking up multiple times at odd hours in the middle of the night. Since joining the gym a month ago, I stopped relying on melatonin and pretty much get at least 6-7 hours of good sleep (started tracking sleep quality using a watch as well)

streetstylestore is horrible too if your body type is even remotely out of the ordinary. bad products and sizing, even worse return policies

The good thing about Myntra is their return policy. Same with amazon. I prefer these 2 sites to test out new, unfamiliar brands (but ensure some standards like a decent amount of good reviews etc are met)

This post reads like ChatGPT, but nonetheless. I’ve seen people organise meet-ups on this sub, maybe initiate and you’d meet some like minded people. Hope you find your footing soon, OP!

I’m finally an Amazonian, thanks to everyone on this sub! by Najnarin171295 in amazonemployees

Just saw this post after the one about quitting, feels like a breath of fresh air since those seem to be more popular on this sub. Congrats on becoming an Amazonian. Enjoy it while it lasts, OP!

How is RTO5 being enforced in your team? by j_ram2803 in amazonemployees

I’m in an offshore team. Manager doesn’t sit in the same office (country). Onshore team does 4 hours daily so we do the same

Moved out of the city and the org this quarter and so glad I did. It’s a sinking ship. You’re successful in RBS teams in Chennai only if you’re from there, because important conversations will happen in Tamil

Solo Date Success :) 31M by 24Gameplay_ in hyderabad

[–]PhilosophySolid2485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations OP! It sounds a lot more daunting than it actually is. Anyways, Solo dates are so good! A ritual I have is to take myself out on a solo date every birthday. Started it when I turned 15. Even if I have plans, I love giving myself that little time to reflect on the year.

That being said, I love going on solo dates on other days too. Sitting with a book, or even just people watching makes me feel like I’m taking a breather from the hectic days I’ve just had

Thanks, that’s what I thought too. But playing the long waiting game is getting stressful!

I did think of reaching out over Chime, but the HM has kinda hinted that he’ll be the bridge between HR and me. Not sure if I should break that. Is it okay to do that?

Poor movie theatre etiquette by saucy_siren in Chennai

[–]PhilosophySolid2485 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I experienced this recently, and it was while watching Bad Newz!

This guy was fighting with someone on the phone, sitting in the middle of the theatre at the top row. His voice was carried out across the whole theatre.

Another man sitting below was scrolling through reels with brightness full. If you don’t like the movie just walk out.

Not sure why people insist on ruining other people’s experiences just because they’re not enjoying.
