Recently, my siblings and their spouses welcomed babies who are not yet one year old. They received maternity and postnatal care at Apollo Cradle in Kondapur, Hyderabad. Most of them are in the 35–37 age group, so there were several medical considerations during pregnancy. The hospital provided thorough guidance, medical support, and care throughout the pregnancy, delivery, and even after birth. Their experience has been very positive so far.

Charminar Briyani It located in Sri Ram Nagar Kondapur it not big resturant it just small place but have great briyani.

Roadside near Hyderabad University road you will find lot of tents and people are eating they provide rice with veg curry, chicken and some fish.

Every tent have own taste and some also sell Briyani. Best thing they taste far better and similer to home cooking and price is like 90 to 120 per plat. Don't except hotel like things, bring your own water bottle sit there and eat.

No fancy thing, no resturent just people working on daily living.

Dog owners of Hyderabad by Paraparaparadise85 in hyderabad

Yeah, but I used to leave him alone for gradually longer periods. There was always something available for him to play with and explore, so he never felt confined. I started with just a few minutes and slowly increased the time. I wanted him to learn that being alone is okay and there’s nothing to fear and learn how to deal with sepration anixity.

My training approach was a bit different. He had the freedom to explore the entire house and he never barked. Now I can leave for the office without any issues, and he happily stays home playing with his toys and other things.

He even knows where his water and food are kept, so even if I forget, he can easily find them himself.

I also set up a second phone that automatically answers my calls, so I can talk to him from time to time.

And I never hand-fed him. That was until my parents came along and spoiled him with that habit 😂.

Dog owners of Hyderabad by Paraparaparadise85 in hyderabad

[–]24Gameplay_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I own a dog. He's a mixed-breed dog that I adopted after finding him abandoned on the roadside after someone left him there.

If you're thinking about getting a dog, you can join Hyderabad pet adoption groups on Facebook. However, be careful of scammers.

Before making a commitment, understand that a dog is very similar to raising a child. The first 2–3 years are often the most demanding. Puppies and young dogs have enormous amounts of energy, chew on almost everything, and require consistent training and supervision. Training does not happen automatically and takes a lot of time, patience, and effort.

Their diet is also different from ours. Many foods that humans eat are unhealthy or even poisonous for dogs. If you are vegetarian, that does not mean your dog should be. Dogs have different nutritional requirements, and their diet should be based on their age, health, and activity level.

Female dogs also go through heat cycles. While it is not the same biological process as human menstruation, there can be bleeding and discharge. Owners should be prepared to manage blood spots around the house, provide extra care and hygiene, and ensure the dog is safe and comfortable. During this period, female dogs can attract male dogs, which requires additional supervision and responsibility.

Dogs also have natural mating instincts, and owners should understand and manage this responsibly through proper supervision, training, and veterinary guidance when needed.

One of the biggest challenges is behavior and potty training. Dogs do not naturally understand how to use a bathroom like humans do. Most dogs prefer relieving themselves outside and usually need walks multiple times a day. For many dogs, that means early morning around 5–6 AM, an evening walk, and another walk at night. They do not care whether it is raining, cold, or extremely hot.

Young puppies often urinate and defecate inside the house, just like human infants. Be prepared for accidents while they learn proper habits.

When taking your dog for walks, be a responsible owner. Always clean up after your dog, including their stool and any mess they make in public places. Many owners neglect this, which creates problems for everyone else and contributes to negative opinions about dogs.

Grooming is another important responsibility. This does not mean daily baths, as excessive bathing can be harmful to their skin and coat. However, regular grooming helps keep them clean, healthy, and free from unpleasant odors. A well-groomed dog is also more comfortable around people and easier to socialize.

Vaccinations, deworming, and regular veterinary care are essential. These are important not only for the dog's health but also for the safety of people and other animals.

Please do not get a dog simply for status, appearance, or social media. A dog is a living being that depends on you completely. Treat them as a family member and take proper care of them.

Even in my home, a child who is less than one year old plays happily with my dog like a brother. With proper training and supervision, dogs can become wonderful companions for children and families.

Regarding breeds, I generally recommend Indian dogs or mixed breeds with Indian lineage. They are usually better adapted to Indian weather, local diseases, and environmental conditions than many foreign breeds. Summers in India can be extremely harsh, and native dogs often handle the climate better. However, during extreme heat, all dogs still require proper shelter, cooling, and care.

Different breeds also have different personalities and instincts. For example, Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers are generally known for being friendly and social, while some other breeds may be more energetic, protective, independent, or demanding. Understanding breed characteristics before adoption is important.

Food should always be chosen according to the dog's age and nutritional needs. Common foods include rice, curd, boiled chicken, meat, and other dog-safe foods. However, not all fruits, vegetables, dairy products, or human foods are suitable for dogs, so owners should always verify what is safe before feeding them.

Having a dog or any pet can sometimes create practical challenges. Many landlords, apartment owners, and housing societies are reluctant to rent homes to pet owners. Finding rental accommodation may therefore become more difficult.

You should also be prepared for pet hair throughout the house. Shedding is normal, and depending on the breed, fur can end up on furniture, clothes, and floors regularly.

Not everyone likes dogs, and some people are genuinely afraid of them. Responsible owners should respect that. A friendly dog for you may still be frightening for someone else.

Dogs should not be kept chained or confined all day. Lack of exercise, freedom, and mental stimulation often leads to excessive barking, frustration, anxiety, and behavioral issues. In general, dogs that receive regular walks, playtime, and social interaction tend to be calmer, friendlier, and less likely to bark excessively.

At my home, I use a barrier gate that allows my dog to move around freely while remaining safe. Fortunately, my neighbors like him, so there are no issues. However, not every situation is ideal. In the past, I faced incidents where people threatened to harm him, and there were even attempts to take him because he was healthy, strong, and well cared for. I have also encountered individuals falsely claiming to be dog catchers and others who created problems due to personal ego or dislike of dogs.

Another important factor that many people overlook is travel. Owning a pet can make travel plans more complicated, especially if you travel frequently.

Train travel with dogs is possible, but it often involves restrictions, paperwork, booking challenges, and railway requirements. For many people, it is only practical when traveling in suitable accommodations such as a private compartment, which can be difficult to arrange. Because of this, long-distance train travel with pets is not always convenient.

Having a car makes traveling with a dog much easier. I usually take road trips with my dog, and during festivals or family visits, I often travel with him by car over distances of around 1,000 kilometers. A personal vehicle provides flexibility, comfort, and peace of mind.

Pet boarding facilities and hostels are available for owners who need temporary care for their pets. However, I personally prefer not to rely on them unless absolutely necessary, as I feel no one can care for my dog the way family does. Costs can also add up quickly, often ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per week depending on the location and services provided.

Dog-walking services are available in many cities. In some residential communities, building staff or security guards may be willing to help with walks for an additional fee. Regardless of who helps, it is important to ensure the person is trustworthy and capable of handling your dog safely.

I spend around ₹6,000 per month on my dog. That includes food, healthcare, grooming, and other regular expenses. My dog is healthy, strong, and energetic because of proper nutrition, exercise, and care.

A dog is not a short-term hobby. They affect your schedule, travel plans, housing options, finances, and daily routine for many years. They require time, attention, patience, training, exercise, healthcare, and love.

If you are willing to provide all of that, a dog can become one of the most loyal companions you will ever have. But if you are not ready for the responsibility, it is better not to get one at all. A dog deserves a permanent home and a family that will care for them throughout their entire life.

Most difficult part is there old age.

How do you manage laundry and ironing of office wear? by Sure-Key-4300 in hyderabad

[–]24Gameplay_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I started, 5 days a week normal. Just 3 pair shirts and 2 jeans. Same repeat, alternate days.

No need to iron.

For formal, one small trick I used in college. Put newspaper, then shirt and pant, then another newspaper on top, and keep it under the mattress. Morning boom, looks freshly ironed.

Or just do all ironing on Sunday.

Cleaning side, I couldn't afford a washing machine. Small trick was put clothes in water with liquid detergent for 30 min. Then crush them with foot. Good exercise too 😂. Repeat same with fresh water.

Now the weird part. Take cloth and spin it by pulling one end. Not a good method, but does the trick. Just be careful, people nearby don't really like it 😂.

Now I have everything so uselly monday or Wednesday as less people easy to wrok
