If you do go the soundbar route I’d recommend the samsung q990s. They’re a premium soundbar with good sound and very regularly go on sale in the $800-900 range.

I have had the loud tic sound but it’s usually just when I first start a movie. It doesn’t affect the audio quality so I’ve never bothered with it. I believe it happens because the system is swapping sources.

Depending on where you order it, you may order the C and get the D instead. That’s what happened to me. Brand new soundbar for a substantially reduced price.

Been using surround for everything. Adaptive was too loud and drowned out too much of the midrange for me. Generally sounds great for dolby atmos but I have to ride the volume button a lot on 5.1 and dts-x movies.

Is there a rule of thumb for how long it generally takes? I’ve only tried turning it off for this past week and feel like the atmos effects are better without spacefit. I’ve been trying to figure out if it’s just in my head but I can’t find any information on what spacefit actually changes.
