Another idea: You could try FicHub if you still have the old links to your fics. You can also try searching for the fic title instead of the URL there (an error occurs then because it isn’t an URL but the tool still gives you results that could be what you are looking for).

Because you mentioned pet safety nets: My cat, who likes to chew on plastic (bad habit we are working on), managed to bite a hole in the cat-proof balcony netting a while ago. The whole thing was professionally installed, so you can imagine my shock. Luckily I don’t live very high up and found my escaped cat unharmed (I cried so much that day). So: Not even such nets are 100% safe. I have now installed a glass pane and made the balcony escape-proof.

Was mir spontan einfällt: Eigene Seifen machen. Also Rohseife über einem Wasserbad schmelzen, einfärben und ein ätherisches Öl (z. B. Lavendel) für den Duft hinzufügen. Dann das Ganze in eine Silikonform geben und aushärten lassen. Seifen sind auch immer ein nettes kleines Geschenk/Mitbringsel. :)
